The Christ Child Society of Milwaukee is a non-profit organization of volunteers, embracing members of all faiths, dedicated to expressing their love of the Christ Child by service to all God’s children.
We are a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization, serving children in Southeastern Wisconsin area since 1948. Our primary focus is clothing the newborn and providing additional services to follow the child and nurture the youth in the greater Milwaukee area.
We are Part of a Larger Organization
The Christ Child Society of Milwaukee is part of the National Christ Child Society, which has nearly 6,000 members in 44 chapters across 20 states driven by faith, love, and a desire to change the futures of children in need. The Society was founded in 1887 in Washington DC by Mary Virginia Merrick.
For over 65 years, the Christ Child Society of Milwaukee had worked to meet the growing needs of children in the Southeastern Wisconsin community. We serve thousands of children annually and our five signature programs, made possible through:
The generous financial support of donors
The generous support of our all-volunteer membership
“The Christ Child Society is special to me because of two words: volunteer and child. I am proud that we continue to be an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that dedicates its resources to help better the lives of children in need.
Julie S., member since 1992
“Becoming a Christ Child Society member has allowed me to help the children in our community, and to do it from my home at my convenience. I am so happy with my involvement that I am looking to share my story with other women.”
Mary B., member since 2009
“My involvement in Christ Child Society allows me to help children know that love and caring exist while forming a bond with women who share those beliefs. We know that the Christ Child is always there to lift us up in this mission.”
