2026 Red Shoe Award: Ann Lamberg
Congratulations to Ann Lamberg, recipient of the 2026 Christ Child Society of Milwaukee Red Shoe Award! Ann joined CCS in 2011 and has quietly made an extraordinary impact ever since. Her dedication, leadership and behind-the-scenes service have strengthened our chapter in countless ways, often far beyond what many members may see.
Over the past 15 years, Ann has played a vital role in helping CCS move confidently into the digital age. She has managed and updated our membership database, supported the website and handled essential information services. That includes the handbook, address labels, volunteer lists and other chapter mailings.
Ann served for several years as Communications Director and wrote the newsletter. She continues preparing and sending the Monday Messenger each week to keep our members informed, connected and engaged. Her work is thoughtful, meticulous and dependable – qualities that are essential to everything we do.
In addition to her communications work, she takes a leadership role in the kitchen for our Second Saturdays, coordinating the moms’ and children’s lunch with care and precision. From planning the menu to guiding volunteers on quantities to order and prepare, Ann brings both organization and hospitality to this important project.
This year’s recognition is especially meaningful, as Ann is the first mother-daughter recipient of the Red Shoe Award; her mother, Pat Driscoll, also was an honoree. It is a joy and an honor to celebrate Ann Lamberg as the 2026 Red Shoe Award winner, a distinction she richly deserves. First presented in 1968, the Red Shoe Award is inspired by Marie Mertel Ugarsky’s poem “The Red Shoes,” which reflects the many ways women answer God’s call to loving service.
